Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, local codes, and the National Electrical Code (NEC). Duties

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and systems in commercial and industrial settings using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations.
Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation and control functions.
Conduct inspections using ohmmeters and other testing devices to ensure proper system operation and safety compliance.
Maintain high standards of safety by adhering to NEC guidelines, working safely at high voltage and low voltage environments, and following all OSHA regulations.
Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry, and general construction tasks as needed.
Utilize schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently on construction sites or during system upgrades.
Demonstrate handyman skills for minor repairs or adjustments that support overall project goals.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently while maintaining quality standards in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

Valid license as a Journeyman Electrician with proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.
Extensive knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safe electrical installations.
Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and low/high voltage systems.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment essential for electrical troubleshooting.
Construction site experience with renovation projects, framing carpentry, or general construction tasks preferred.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical diagrams.
Ability to work safely at high voltage environments while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience for minor repairs or adjustments.
Prior experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician is highly desirable.
