Job Description

Read blueprints
Inspect structures to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structures
Install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and draining systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
Locate and mark position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors.
Cut openings in walls and floors
Cut tread pipe using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe treading machine.
Bend pipe to required angles,
Assemble and install valves
Join Pipes
Fill pipe systems with water
Repair or replace defective equipment,
Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies

Requirements

3-5 years construction experience
Valid drivers license
Pass drug screening, background check & fit-for-work physical
Minimum of GED or High School Diploma
Basic computers skills
Strong verbal communications skills, ability to explain complex issues
Critical thinking, problem solver
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Be able to lift 50lbs or more, heavy pushing, pulling and lifting , reach overhead, twisting of trunk, Squatting, Ladder climbing.
