Plumbing Service Technician

is looking for an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a residential service company providing plumbing, HVAC, and general home repair services across the Houston area.
We are looking for a skilled, reliable technician who can diagnose plumbing issues, communicate clearly with homeowners, and perform quality repairs in the field.
This position is ideal for a self-motivated technician with their own vehicle and tools who wants consistent work and the opportunity to grow with a professional service company.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems
- Perform underground plumbing repairs and drain troubleshooting
- Water heater repair and replacement
- Toilet, faucet, and fixture troubleshooting and installation
- Identify plumbing issues and clearly explain solutions to customers
- Provide accurate repair estimates after diagnosis
- Complete service calls professionally and efficiently
- Maintain clear communication with customers and the office
Preferred Skills (Highly Valued)
- Plumbing license or certification (preferred)
- Experience with residential service plumbing
- Ability to perform underground plumbing repairs
- Water heater installation and service
- Experience with HVAC, drywall repair, or home repairs is a strong plus
- Sales ability and strong customer communication
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years plumbing service experience
- Must have own truck or van suitable for service work
- Must have own plumbing tools
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Bilingual: English and Spanish required
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
- Must be able to travel within 40 miles of Houston
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- Occasional weekends and after-hours work when needed
Workload may vary depending on demand. Some days may be slower while others may include multiple service calls.
Pay Structure
- 1099 Independent Contractor position
- Pay based on experience and skill level
- Weekly pay
- Possibility of future sales commission opportunities
Company covers certain work-related expenses for service calls.
