Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager and Estimator to lead construction projects from initial conception through completion. This role combines strategic project oversight with precise cost estimation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating teams, managing client relationships, and controlling project costs while maintaining strict adherence to safety and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to guide construction activities from start to finish.
Prepare accurate estimates using HeavyBid or similar estimating software, incorporating detailed construction costs and pricing strategies.
Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts thoroughly to ensure scope clarity and feasibility.
Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to secure favorable terms and maintain strong professional relationships.
Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
Monitor project progress regularly, identifying potential delays or cost overruns early and implementing corrective actions.
Manage change orders, contract modifications, and cost control measures effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
Utilize Bluebeam for document management, markup reviews, and collaboration across teams.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all contractual obligations are met while optimizing project efficiency.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to uphold construction site safety standards.

Experience

Proven experience in construction estimating with proficiency in HeavyBid or similar software tools.
Strong background in construction management with hands-on site experience across various projects.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts effectively with clients and subcontractors.
Familiarity with Bluebeam for document review and collaboration purposes.
Knowledge of cost control techniques, pricing strategies, and budget management in construction projects.
Excellent understanding of construction contracts, project management principles, and safety regulations.
