Synergy SE is a regional fire and security systems integrator expanding operations into Tennessee. We support commercial, nonprofit, and multi-site facilities with installation, inspections, service, and system integration.
We are seeking experienced, licensed low voltage and alarm professionals to support statewide commercial and residential projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Installation and service of:
- Commercial Fire Alarm Systems
- Intrusion/Burglar Alarm Systems
- CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems
- Access Control Systems
- System integration and commissioning
- Inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Compliance with Tennessee state and local codes
- Professional interaction with clients and facility personnel
Required Experience
- Commercial alarm system installation (Honeywell preferred)
- Residential alarm systems (2GIG or similar platforms)
- Access control platforms (Lenel, Honeywell, Brivo, etc.)
- Fire alarm installation and service experience
- EST certification required when servicing EST systems
Minimum 2 years field experience (5+ years preferred).
Licensing Requirements (Tennessee)
- Active Limited Licensed Electrician (LLE) license (for applicable low voltage scope), AND/OR
- Proper registration under the Tennessee Alarm Systems Contractors Board for alarm/security system work
- NICET Certification required for fire alarm inspection/service roles
- Valid Driver’s License
Technicians must be properly licensed and/or registered in accordance with Tennessee state requirements for alarm and low voltage work.
Additional Requirements
- Must provide own professional-grade tools and reliable transportation
- Valid vehicle insurance required
- Willingness to travel statewide (up to 50%)
- Ability to work day, night, and emergency service shifts as needed
- Must successfully pass background check prior to project assignment
- Additional business insurance may be required for 1099 contractors
- Confidentiality agreement required prior to onboarding
Schedule
- 8–12 hour shifts
- Monday–Friday
- Weekends and emergency service as needed
