We are seeking a highly skilled Welder/Fitter with experience in pipe and structural welding. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, the ability to read and interpret fabrication documents, and a commitment to producing high-quality welds that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform pipe and structural welding in accordance with project specifications
Weld materials including stainless steel, hastelloy, inconel, and other exotic alloys
Produce full penetration welds capable of passing X-Ray inspection
Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedure specifications (WPS), and procedure qualification records (PQRs)
Set up and operate welding equipment for MIG, TIG, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
Fit, align, and assemble components prior to welding
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards
Safely maneuver materials and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications:

Proven experience in pipe and structural welding
Ability to pass X-ray weld tests on full penetration pipe welds
Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and procedures
Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding processes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding documentation
Experience working with exotic metals (hastelloy, inconel, etc.) preferred
Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Ability to stand for extended periods of time while stooping, bending, and reaching
Ability to safely lift and maneuver materials
