Programmer / CAD Designer – Sheet Metal
Full-Time | 1st Shift
We are hiring a Programmer / CAD Designer with experience in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks to create flat layouts for laser cutting and forming in a precision metal manufacturing environment. This role focuses on sheet metal layout, fabrication support, and design accuracy.
Job Duties
- Create flat layouts for laser cutting and forming
- Develop sheet metal drawings from assembly prints and sketches
- Support manufacturing by designing for efficient fabrication
- Work closely with production and fabrication teams
- Review and revise drawings as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in precision metal manufacturing
- AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks experience
- Sheet metal layout experience (required)
- Understanding of fabrication processes
- Brake operation knowledge preferred, not required
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
