ESA Steel Services is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented self-starter Electrical Technician to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our production facilities. Duties

Perform routine inspections, calibration, and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
Troubleshoot complex electrical issues involving low voltage, high voltage, sensors, distributed control systems (DCS), CNC machinery, and motor controls.
Install, configure, and service programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Calypso systems, AutoCAD-designed layouts, and vision inspection systems to optimize manufacturing processes.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose faults and implement repairs.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system calibrations, sensor alignments, and repairs in compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades involving E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) components to improve efficiency and safety.
Support the integration of new equipment by applying mechanical knowledge and electrical expertise.

Experience

Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong background in manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments.
Extensive knowledge of hydraulics, sensors, calibration techniques, and the use of precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters.
Hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), CNC machinery, and vision inspection systems.
Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading electrical schematics and designing system layouts.
Experience working with low and high-voltage systems safely within industrial settings; military background is a plus for disciplined safety practices.
Strong mechanical knowledge to support troubleshooting of integrated electromechanical equipment.
Ability to perform field service tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards during client interactions or internal support roles.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
