Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various new construction, remodel and retrofit industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to industrial facilities, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment on construction sites and industrial facilities.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical installations and repairs.
Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and multimeters to ensure proper functioning.
Collaborate with construction teams, framers, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and requirements.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and materials used for each project phase.

Skills

Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations.
Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage applications.
Familiarity with NEC standards for safe electrical practices and code compliance.
Ability to operate various hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) efficiently.
Experience working on new construction sites as well as remodel/retrofit knowledge is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting skills using testing equipment such as ohmmeters and ammeters to diagnose issues accurately.
Knowledge of schematics interpretation for complex electrical systems in industrial environments.
Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.

Benefit eligibility is subject to a waiting period, which begins on the employee’s hire date.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
