Pipefitter Responsibilities Include:
- Install commercial & industrial piping systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, condensed water.
- Must be versed with multiple materials of pipe (Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Copper, RIGID etc.)
- Cutting or boring holes in structures
- Fabricate pipe supports.
- Troubleshooting problems.
- Inspecting, examining, or testing installed systems.
Pipefitter Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in the commercial or industrial construction industry preferred.
- Knowledge of pipefitter equipment and power tools.
- Tools of the trade and the ability to bring them to job sites.
- Strong work ethic with a positive and calm mindset.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
- Perform mathematical calculations pertaining to the manipulation of angles such as rolling offsets, cutback of fittings, and takeout between welds and other fits.
