- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Strong experience in plumbing system design for building projects
- Proven ability to lead design efforts and coordinate across disciplines (MEP, architecture, etc.)
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables

We are seeking a Plumbing Engineer - PE to lead the plumbing design and coordination of building system projects. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality design documents, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will play a key role in coordinating design efforts, supporting project execution, and contributing to strong client relationships.
- Prepare and develop plumbing design documents in accordance with industry and company standards
- Coordinate plumbing systems with internal teams and external consultants
- Monitor project progress to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
- Support QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of design documents
- Collaborate with Project Managers on staffing needs, scheduling, and budget tracking
- Review and manage plumbing budget hours, recommending adjustments as needed
- Work closely with internal plumbing staff to assign tasks and ensure successful project execution
- Assist in maintaining and strengthening client relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience in plumbing design for commercial, healthcare, education, or similar building types preferred
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders as needed
- 10 hours of internal continuing education annually
