About VDCI
The Virtual Design & Construction Institute is a leading online vocational school delivering professional-grade, video-based asynchronous courses to students in the architecture, engineering, construction, and design industries. Our courses are built by working professionals for working professionals — practical, rigorous, and career-focused. We are expanding our MEP curriculum across all three trades — Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing — and we are looking for experienced instructors and professors across all disciplines to help us build the next generation of vocational training programs.
The Opportunity
The construction and facilities industry is facing one of the most significant skilled labor shortages in its history. Demand for trained MEP professionals is accelerating rapidly driven by AI data center construction, EV infrastructure, renewable energy, smart buildings, and a wave of retiring tradespeople. Quality online training programs have not kept pace with that demand. That is where you come in!
As an MEP Instructor at VDCI, you will develop and deliver online vocational courses in your area of expertise — helping students across the country build the skills they need for in-demand, well-paying careers. You bring the knowledge. We build the course around you.
