Job Description
As a Commercial Electrical Helper, you will assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with little to no prior electrical experience who are eager to learn the trade, develop hands-on skills, and work in a team-oriented construction environment. You will support daily jobsite operations by performing basic tasks, following safety procedures, and learning industry standards under the supervision of experienced electricians.
Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians with commercial electrical installations and repairs.

Clean, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.

Help run conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid) under supervision.

Assist with pulling wire and cable through conduit.

Support installation of electrical boxes, lighting fixtures, outlets, and switches.

Help with grounding and bonding tasks.

Perform basic measuring, cutting, drilling, and fastening.
Essential Skills

Proficient with tape measurer.

Valid driver's license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience with construction, electrical work, and conduit bending is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment includes a Monday through Friday schedule from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional optional overtime on Saturdays. Dress code includes jeans with no holes, a professional tee shirt, and work boots (non-steel toed acceptable, but no tennis shoes). Cut-off shirts or shorts are not allowed. The company provides necessary PPE, including high visibility vests, hard hats, and safety glasses.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
