Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Lead and supervise all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to monitor progress and adjust timelines proactively.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure clarity and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee construction site activities, enforce safety protocols, and maintain a secure work environment.
- Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid to prepare accurate cost forecasts and resource allocations.
- Manage procurement processes using construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for document control and communication.
- Conduct regular site inspections, monitor quality control measures, and address issues promptly.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones for stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects by effective time management and prioritization of tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site management with a strong understanding of heavy civil or commercial construction projects.
- Proficiency with project management tools including Primavera P6, Primavera P3, Bluebeam, ProCore, Construction estimating software, and Schematics reading.
- Demonstrated ability in blueprint reading, contract administration, and schematic interpretation.
- Familiarity with civil 3D for site design coordination is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction management practices including safety standards and quality assurance.
- Excellent project scheduling skills combined with effective project coordination capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams and clients.
