Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder III to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks to fabricate and assemble all products in the Truck and Trailer Division. You will also be responsible for supervising up to 3 additional welders and ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) with precision on sheet metal, pipe, and structural components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Measure materials accurately using tape measures and basic math skills to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Execute rigging and crane operations safely when positioning heavy components for welding or assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times while working on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
- Perform quality control inspections.
- Supervise a group of up to 3 welders and ensure quality and efficiency goals are achieved.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in construction site environments or manufacturing facilities involving welding tasks.
- Proficiency in MIG welding on mild, high-strength, and stainless steel.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and schematics.
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes including pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise work.
- Knowledge of rigging procedures and crane operation safety practices.
- Experience with forklift operation.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
