Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with experience in both installation and maintenance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can troubleshoot issues effectively and ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and boilers.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems within HVAC equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in the installation and repair processes.
- Provide excellent customer service while communicating with clients about their HVAC needs.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites as required for service calls.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, and property maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with using diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory.
- Will have to travel up to 5 hours or more
