Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and related mechanical equipment. Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration and HVAC/R equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.
Conduct field service operations involving appliance repair, plumbing connections, welding tasks, and equipment adjustments.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices to identify electrical or mechanical faults.
Document all service activities thoroughly and communicate findings clearly to team members or clients.
Support property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and general mechanical infrastructure.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a service technician specializing in refrigeration, HVAC systems, or property maintenance.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and plumbing.
Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, ammonia refrigeration systems, and electrical troubleshooting tools like ohmmeters.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for effective diagnostics.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred.
Knowledge of field service procedures including appliance repair and equipment maintenance in commercial or industrial environments.
Additional skills such as welding certification, boiler operation experience, or mechanic background are highly desirable.
