Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in alarm systems, fire alarms, and electrical work. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems to ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties. The Alarm Technician will work closely with customers to provide exceptional service and support.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair various alarm systems including fire alarms and low voltage systems.
Conduct thorough inspections of alarm systems to detect any malfunctions or issues.
Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installations and repairs.
Provide field service support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs performed.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to alarm systems.

Experience

Proven experience in alarm system sales or installation is preferred.
Familiarity with fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler fitting is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems are essential.
Experience working in field service roles related to alarm or security systems.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to clients in a clear manner.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
