Job Description

We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Fitter – F2 to install, assemble, and modify fire sprinkler piping and related components in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and modify fire sprinkler piping and related components.
Measure, cut, thread, and join pipe.
Mount, align, and secure sprinkler heads and hangers.
Safely use hand tools and power tools.
Assist with system inspections, testing, and commissioning.
Collaborate with supervisors, fitters, and contractors on job sites.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow company safety procedures.
Complete required documentation and reports.

Qualifications

Knowledge of sprinkler systems, sprinkler installation, applicable codes, and basic life safety requirements.
Experience measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling pipe for fire protection systems.
Proficiency with hand tools and equipment used in sprinkler fitting and construction.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and installation instructions.
Experience in fire protection, plumbing, or related mechanical trades preferred.
Commitment to safety practices, including PPE use and compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Physical ability to lift materials, climb ladders, and work in varying job site conditions.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant trade certifications or apprenticeship experience are a plus.
Reliable transportation to East Hartford, CT job sites.
Ability to work full-time hours with occasional overtime as needed.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
