Pipefitters needed for a Turnaround in Texas City starting April 20.
Job Length: 12-14 Days
Hours: 12 hour shifts, 7 days/week
Per Diem: Location Based
Duties:
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipe
- Lay out and install piping systems per blueprints and isometric drawings
- Install hangers, supports, valves, and related components
- Fit and align piping for welding and mechanical connections
- Inspect and test systems for leaks and proper alignment
- Read and interpret P&IDs, spool drawings, and field sketches
- Follow all company and site safety procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of industrial pipefitting experience
- Completion of apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and API standards
- Ability to read blueprints and work safely in industrial environments
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
- Must pass required drug/alcohol screening
