Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Lead Fire & Security Alarm Technician, working remotely with dispatched service calls to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair comprehensive fire alarm and security systems. Responsibilities

Lead installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm systems, security alarms, CCTV surveillance, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and access control hardware.
Manage field service operations by dispatching from home to various client sites while ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately install and maintain low voltage systems and telecommunication cabling.
Conduct system testing using remote access software and specialized tools to verify system functionality and compliance with safety standards.
Provide technical guidance to team members on system design, electrical wiring, sensor placement, CCTV configuration, and locksmithing procedures.
Maintain detailed service records, update client documentation, and generate reports on system performance or issues encountered during visits.
Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs; assist in alarm system sales by explaining features and benefits of various solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience as a service technician specializing in fire alarm systems, security systems, surveillance cameras (CCTV), or low voltage electrical work.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience related to cabling, power tools usage (including power drills and hand tools), and construction environments.
Familiarity with computer networking concepts, remote access software, schematics interpretation, and system design principles.
Knowledge of IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), sensors (motion detectors, glass-break sensors), fire alarm components, and security system integration.
Ability to read technical schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex electronic systems efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration; leadership experience is a plus.
