About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components within our industrial facility. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical systems, NEC codes, and troubleshooting to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and infrastructure. Your contributions will directly impact our productivity and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions in machinery and equipment, collaborating with maintenance teams to implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with NEC codes and safety protocols, contributing to a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and maintain advanced control systems, including servo drives and controllers, to optimize equipment performance.
- Proactively identify and address electrical issues throughout the facility, preventing downtime and ensuring operational continuity.
- Install and maintain diverse types of conduits, ensuring proper wire sizing and termination for optimal electrical performance.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial power and electrical systems, ensuring reliable power distribution.
- Interpret electrical schematics to diagnose and resolve complex electrical problems, minimizing downtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician or similar role.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety regulations.
- Experience with complex manufacturing operations.
- Experience with 24V - 480V power systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair sensors and solid-state equipment.
