Duties

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation settings using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects.
Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and quality.
Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes.
Read and interpret schematics and construction blueprints to ensure precise installation and repairs.
Conduct construction site work including framing carpentry, handyman tasks, and general renovation activities as needed.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols, including proper handling of electrical components on construction sites.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Document work performed accurately for record-keeping and future reference.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
Hands-on experience working on construction sites with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
Familiarity with low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, NEC regulations, and safety standards.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
Ability to perform renovation tasks including framing carpentry and handyman repairs as needed.
Strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and technical documentation.
Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and efficient project execution.
