The Outside Sales Representative contributes to company growth and profitability by identifying, managing, and growing customer accounts in the assigned Stamford Territory. This includes as far northeast as Fairfield, as far north as Danbury/Brookfield, and also lower into Westchester County. The Outside Sales Representative is also responsible for prospecting for new accounts and growing existing accounts by uncovering additional sales opportunities.
You should have:
· 4+ years’ experience in a similar position
· HVAC/R Product/applications experience preferred
· HVAC/R Wholesale distribution experience preferred
· Valid driver’s license and vehicle (travel to customers required)
· Prior sales experience with a strong desire to build profitable relationships
· The motivation to always improve through industry specific trainings
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· The ability to work independently and problem-solve under pressure
· Excellent computer skills
