Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and motivated Licensed Electrical Installers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to deliver high-quality electrical solutions that power our clients’ operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation settings using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute electrical installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose faults efficiently.
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation projects.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, including proper handling of high voltage and low voltage wiring in compliance with NEC regulations.
- Collaborate with construction teams on framing carpentry, schematics interpretation, and other related tasks to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records.
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Licensed Electrical Installer with relevant state or local authority.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes such as NEC and safety protocols for high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and testing instruments like ohmmeters.
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures including framing carpentry and handyman tasks is a plus.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and interpret complex electrical diagrams.
- Prior experience in renovation projects or construction environments demonstrating adaptability and teamwork skills.
