Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and plumbing fixtures to ensure peak performance.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
Install, modify, and upgrade HVAC systems in accordance with HVAC design specifications and property requirements.
Perform equipment repairs including welding, appliance repair, and mechanical adjustments to maintain operational integrity.
Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
Assist with ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized refrigeration units requiring specific safety protocols.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system performance logs for compliance and future reference.

Skills

Extensive construction knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC installation and maintenance projects.
Proven service technician experience working with HVAC/R systems in commercial or industrial settings.
Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design principles for precise troubleshooting.
Mechanical knowledge including boiler operation, equipment repair, welding skills, and property maintenance expertise.
Familiarity with plumbing systems, air conditioning units, ammonia refrigeration systems, and electrical components such as ohmmeters.
Ability to operate field service vehicles (including driver license requirements) safely across various job sites.
Experience with appliance repair, field service operations, and working with complex mechanical systems like boilers or HVAC/R units.
