About the Role
We are seeking motivated Entry-Level Cabinet Makers to join our growing team at a leading retail display manufacturing company. In this hands-on position, you will be trained by senior cabinet builders on how to construct high-quality wood and laminate cabinets used in retail environments across the country.
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints and build instructions to understand product specifications
- Work with plastic laminate, starting with large sheet layups and progressing to more detailed fabrication
- Measure, cut, and prepare raw materials including wood and veneers for assembly
- Use hand tools and power tools (tape measure, pin nailer, sander, routers, table saw, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Assemble cabinet components, install shelving, drawers, and hardware such as hinges and handles
- Inspect completed pieces for accuracy, quality, and functionality
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety protocols
- Participate in team meetings, take direction from senior builders, and maintain a positive, collaborative attitude
Must-Have Qualifications
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to follow detailed building instructions or technical diagrams
- Tool Experience: Familiarity with measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools
- Team Player: Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with others
