Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment.This role is based at our Apartment Complex in at 800 N Beech St, North Little Rock AR 72114. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across a variety of systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting, supporting the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes swiftly.
Perform appliance repairs, air conditioning servicing, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) system troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs with precision.
Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, filters, valves, or electrical wiring to restore equipment functionality.
Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and system modifications.
Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility upgrades or expansions as needed.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and future reference.

Experience

Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in a commercial or industrial environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment repair.
Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools used for troubleshooting complex systems.
Experience working with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment.
Ability to lead or assist in maintenance projects while working independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of construction practices is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $24.23 - $29.18 per hour
