1-Tom-Plumber is looking for an experienced Plumber to efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leakages to installing pipes and making spot repairs. They are patient individuals with a practical mind and a heart to serve our customer's with efficiency and great attention to detail. The goal is to install and maintain well-functioning systems that transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids. We offer a highly competitive incentive based pay scale. Our plumbers perform plumbing services ranging from simple faucet repairs to water heater installations and plumbing system replacements.

Responsibilities:

Provide solutions to residential & commercial plumbing & drain problems.
A service call begins with diagnosing problems then providing a cost estimate to close the sale.
Make necessary repairs.
Document estimates and invoices, must be attention to detail. Ability to express what is needed in detail and in a professional manner.
Collect payment and move on to the next service call.

Oversees and installs new plumbing, including pipes, valves, drains, basins, tubs, faucets, lavatories, sinks, drinking fountains, hot water heaters, and a wide variety of other plumbing fixtures, facilities, and equipment may require frequently lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds.
Performs repair of old plumbing, including fixtures and pipelines, clean and open traps, drains and other lines.
Conducts preventive maintenance on plumbing fixtures and systems.
Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, and practices of the plumbing trade.
Knowledge of all applicable hazards and safety precautions.
Knowledge of all codes and ordinances.
Knowledge of basic building construction principles.
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Skill in using plumbing tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
Ability to work under minimum supervision.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the general public.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Ability to analyze problems and determine appropriate course of action.
Ability to perform all the physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodations.
Working conditions are both indoors and outdoors with occasional exposure to temperature extremes, dust, dirt, grease, loud noises, or hazardous fumes.
