- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems according to schematics and design specifications
- Conduct system inspections to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards
- Perform maintenance tasks such as ductwork installation, piping connections, and equipment calibration
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose faults accurately
- Read and interpret technical schematics, HVAC design plans, and plumbing diagrams for precise installation
- Repair or replace faulty components including compressors, motors, valves, and thermostats
- Ensure all installations adhere to local codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed for each project
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on HVAC installation or service technician work
- Minimum 1 year HVAC installation experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology, and property maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex mechanical issues
- Physical stamina to perform demanding field service tasks including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
