Who You Are
You are a skilled Service Plumber, Plumbing Installer, or Drain Technician who takes pride in craftsmanship and customer experience.
Depending on your specialty, you will perform residential service repairs, system installations, drain cleaning, or a combination of all three. You can confidently diagnose issues, explain solutions clearly, and help homeowners choose options that improve safety, reliability, and quality of life.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform timely and accurate plumbing and/or drain repairs and installations
- Diagnose residential plumbing and drain issues and present repair and replacement options
- Clearly explain all work to customers, provide upfront pricing, and gain approval before starting
- Install and repair: Plumbing systems and piping, Water heaters (tank and tankless), Toilets, sinks, faucets, disposals, fixtures, Drain and sewer systems
- Operate drain equipment including drain machines, cameras, and locators (as applicable)
- Build customer rapport and recommend the right products, upgrades, maintenance plans, and financing options
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and regulations
- Maintain professional appearance to earn repeat business and referrals
- Keep service vehicles clean, stocked, and organized
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Dispatch teams for daily success
- Maintain accurate job records, including before-and-after photos
- Follow all safety guidelines on the job and while driving
- Participate in training, morning meetings, and company events
- Train and mentor apprentices when applicable

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years residential experience as a service plumber, installer, drain technician, or combination technician
- Tradesmen, Journeyman, or Drain Endorsement (required)
- Ability to become licensed or endorsed within 30 days
- Strong diagnostic, repair, or installation skills
- Experience with water heaters, tankless systems, filtration, or drains (role-dependent)
- Working knowledge of drain machines, cameras, and locating equipment
- Ability to present repair vs. replacement options clearly to homeowners
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Basic computer skills; ability to use an iPad for documentation
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Knowledge and safe use of plumbing tools and equipment
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Regular standing, reaching, talking, hearing, and fine motor use
- Frequent walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Lifting requirements:
- Up to 10 lbs regularly
- Up to 50 lbs frequently
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas
- Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Frequent exposure to heat, cold, wet, and humid conditions
- Occasional exposure to mechanical parts, vibration, and outdoor weather
- Noise levels typically moderate
Compensation & Schedule
- Revenue Sharing / Performance-Based Pay (No Earnings Cap)
- Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (flexible based on workload)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, on-call rotation
Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
