Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Amada CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components to precise specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine bend sequences, tooling requirements, and machine settings
- Program the CNC press brake, including inputting dimensions, angles, and material specifications to produce parts from scratch
- Select, install, and align appropriate tooling and dies based on material type and project requirements
- Perform first-piece inspections and ongoing quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges
- Adjust machine settings and programs as needed to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in production
- Troubleshoot issues with machine operation, tooling, or part quality and make necessary corrections
- Maintain proper material handling, including loading/unloading sheet metal safely and efficiently
- Ensure all finished parts meet quality standards, tolerances, and customer specifications
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials
