Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial and industrial settings. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects.
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other testing devices to diagnose issues and verify system integrity.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure proper framing carpentry, renovation work, and electrical integration during new builds or remodeling projects.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports and system modifications.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents on construction sites or within operational facilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings; experience with industrial electrician tasks is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems design.
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems; ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Prior construction site experience with renovation projects or new builds; ability to work safely in dynamic environments.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations; ongoing commitment to safety standards such as NEC compliance.
