We are a family-owned business providing services in asphalt, concrete, and saw cutting in both the private and public sectors. Our asphalt services include utility and residential patching, as well as parking lot maintenance and custom driveways. Summary

Asphalt Patch Systems is looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to fill an immediate opening on our concrete team. Our crew performs a variety of concrete work, including flatwork, sidewalk, curb/gutter, and ADA ramps. We are looking for someone who works well in a team environment, but is also able to work independently without supervision. At least five years of experience in concrete finishing/forming is required. Must be insurable with at least three years demonstrated safe driving record. Knowledge of ADA guidelines and the ability to read and set forms off of a set of plans is a plus. This is a great opportunity for an experienced finisher looking for full time, steady, year-round work!

* Please note that because this position works with and around heavy equipment and machinery, it is a safety sensitive position subject to pre-employment and random drug tests, including screening for non-psychoactive cannabis metabolites.

Responsibilities:

Safely drives company vehicle to and from job site with coworkers.
Performs manual labor associated with job prep and concrete installation, including removing waste material, preparing grade, setting forms, molding edges and joints, smoothing and finishing poured surfaces, and sealing concrete.
Uses a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and some heavy equipment.
Monitors job site to prevent tampering of wet concrete.
Occasionally performs traffic control duties such as setting up/taking down traffic signs, and flagging in work zones.
Participates in training and classes as needed, such as first aid or flagging.
Adheres to all company, state, and federal safety standards.
Punches in and out of different jobs using mobile time tracker.
Completes and submits administrative paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, including receipts and purchase orders.
Communicates effectively with foreman, fellow crew members, customers, and general public.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

Minimum 5 years of concrete finishing experience
Valid driver’s license
Insurable driver with at least three years demonstrated safe driving record
Current flagging card, or willingness to obtain
Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Education and Experience

Current and valid US Class A commercial driver’s license
Experience operating heavy equipment such as loader, excavator, or saw

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
