As a Pipefitter you will set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, cutters, benders, and measuring tools according to specifications. You will repair, fabricate, field bend and install welded steel and coupled aluminum pipe.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Pipe welding

· Pipe bending

· Hydraulic pipe/hose work

· Stick welding

· Be able to read and interpret blueprints

· Be able to complete math equations to calculate bend radius on steel pipe

· Work in a safe manner at a high production rate

· Able to level, square and align parts while someone tacks into place

· Lift and hold 50lbs. Work overhead

· Climb up and down equipment to fit parts or to weld parts sometimes one handed

· Rigging and hosting with overhead crane

· Stand for 10+ hours

· Able to work on ladders

· Work in the rain, cold or heat for long periods

Skills and Qualifications

· Strong capacity for teamwork

· Strong understanding of math and calculating different radius and pipe bends

· Good communication skills

· Demonstrate initiative and autonomy

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour

Experience:

Construction: 2 years (Preferred)
