Next Day Air and Heating has an immediate need for a self-motivated, skilled, HVAC Service Tech/ Installer . The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience diagnosing, and servicing various residential HVAC systems with some light commercial experience preferred. This role is primarily focused on service and maintenance while installing as needed to keep the schedule on track.

Rate of pay includes the following:

$18.50 hourly base pay plus commissions on repairs, maintenance, sales etc: A qualified technician should earn $100,000 plus per year

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain, diagnose, repair systems
Verify the scope of work sold meets the allotted time given.
Receive, verify and load all equipment and materials needed for each job
Perform routine preventative maintenance as needed.
Communicate with customers, regarding the work being performed and educate them on use of new system(s)
Train install apprentices through the HVAC process

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to install residential package units split systems; knowledge of ductless systems is a bonus
Ability to design ducting systems
Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
