Job Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead a construction project from inception to completion north of Omaha.
This role combines hands-on supervision with strategic project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for construction excellence, exceptional leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Previous experience managing healthcare facility projects would be beneficial!
Duties
- Lead and coordinate all phases of a construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety protocols
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to optimize productivity and quality outcomes
- Develop detailed project schedules using Procore or similar project management software, adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure clarity and compliance with design specifications
- Oversee site operations, including safety inspections, quality assurance, and environmental compliance
- Facilitate effective project coordination among stakeholders, clients, architects, engineers, and field teams
- Monitor progress through regular site visits and detailed reports; address issues promptly to maintain momentum
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background healthcare builds.
- Demonstrated expertise in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, and HeavyBid
- Solid understanding of project scheduling techniques and tools; ability to develop and adjust timelines proactively
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction drawings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively on-site and remotely
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines without compromising safety or quality standards
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project cost control methods
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents accurately; experience in civil or heavy infrastructure projects is preferred
Pay: $128,000.00 - $169,000.00 per year
