Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Setter/Finisher/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting, finishing, and assisting with various concrete and masonry projects on commercial and residential sites. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure high-quality results, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects. Responsibilities

Set up forms and frameworks for concrete pouring using carpentry and metal stud framing techniques
Operate power tools and hand tools safely to pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces
Install rebar reinforcement according to schematics and blueprints to ensure structural integrity
Finish concrete surfaces with tools such as trowels, floats, and edgers for smoothness and durability
Assist with the installation of hardscape features including paving stones, retaining walls, and decorative concrete elements
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining safety protocols on-site
Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project specifications and renovation plans
Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, or loaders as needed for efficient project flow
Support other trades including plastering, stucco application, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, or carpentry tasks during project phases
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly

Experience

Prior experience working on construction sites with concrete finishing or related masonry work preferred
Knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to construction tools and equipment operation
Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
Hands-on experience with rebar installation, form setting, or concrete pumping highly desirable
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings accurately
Experience with heavy equipment operation such as mixers or forklifts is advantageous
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, power tools usage, and site hazards
