Job Title: HVAC Service Manager (Commercial & Industrial)

Location: Litchfield, CT

Salary: Compensation based on experience and qualifications

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3 pm

Jaci Carroll Staffing is seeking an experienced, hands-on HVAC Service Manager to lead its commercial and industrial service division. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving field performance, supporting technicians, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.

HVAC Service Manager Key Responsibilities

Lead, schedule, and support a team of HVAC/R service technicians in the field
Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of:
Air conditioning systems
Boilers and heating systems
Refrigeration equipment
Review blueprints, schematics, and system designs for accuracy and execution
Troubleshoot complex mechanical and system issues in the field as needed
Conduct job site visits, inspections, and performance evaluations
Train, mentor, and develop technicians to improve skill level and efficiency
Manage service workflow, priorities, and customer expectations
Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and service equipment
Collaborate with project managers and construction teams on mechanical work
Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in HVAC/R service and maintenance.
Manage inventory of tools and equipment necessary for field service operations.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental requirements

HVAC Service Manager Qualifications

Required

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with leadership or supervisory responsibilities
Strong working knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities

Preferred

Experience managing service teams or departments
Background in plumbing and mechanical systems
Estimating or quoting service work
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems
Familiarity with diagnostic tools (ohmmeters, etc.) and welding equipment
Experience in construction or property maintenance environments
