A leading Commercial Plumbing and Electrical Company in the DFW Area is searching for a dynamic leader to fill our Vice President Commercial Plumbing and Electrical position. The VP Commercial Plumbing and Electrical is a senior executive in the Company and reports to the Company’s President. This position is responsible for overseeing multiple plumbing and electrical projects and teams while staying on schedule, driving business growth, and ensuring project profitability, code compliance, and safety. This position leads teams, manages budgets, and develops strategic plans for service, requiring extensive plumbing experience, financial acumen, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
· Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute commercial plumbing and electrical strategies to meet company goals and drive growth.
· Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, including project management, resource allocation, and material management.
· Financial Management: Control budgets, manage job costing, maximize profitability, and report on cost plans.
· Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with local plumbing and electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
· Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train staff; oversee recruiting, performance evaluations, and career development.
· Client Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, and partners.
Qualifications
· Experience: Proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within commercial plumbing.
· Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
· Licensing: Relevant plumbing licenses or professional certifications.
· Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial plumbing systems, design, and industry standards.
· Education: Bachelor’s or MBA degree in Business, Finance preferred, or related field is a plus.
