Job Summary
Pike’s Electric, Inc. is seeking a dependable and experienced Underground Electrician to join our residential new construction team. This position is responsible for installing underground electrical systems for new residential homes safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and applicable codes.

We are looking for someone with underground residential electrical experience who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and understands the importance of safety, reliability, and quality.

Duties

Install underground electrical systems for new residential construction homes
Measure, lay out, and install PVC conduit and related materials
Dig, trench, and prepare underground runs for electrical service
Read blueprints, job plans, and specifications
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Work with supervisors and crew members to complete jobs on schedule
Ensure work is performed in compliance with applicable electrical codes and company standards

Experience

Experience in residential underground electrical work preferred
Knowledge of underground service installation and layout
Ability to read blueprints and follow directions
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
Valid driver’s license required
