```Duties:```
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Install and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete projects requiring electrical work
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards
```Requirements:```
- Valid journeyperson electrician license
- Proven experience as a journeyperson electrician in a similar role
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations
- Ability to use hand tools and specialized electrical equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, climbing, or working in confined spaces
- You must be able to pass a background check to work on government bases
- Apprentice must be in school or finished with school
