Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation and construction sites to ongoing maintenance operations, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge to keep systems running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial environments.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics to accurately execute projects.
Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
Work with low voltage systems, high voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and adhere to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance.
Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure proper framing carpentry, schematics implementation, and renovation work.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems on construction sites or during ongoing operations to identify potential hazards or failures.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including incident reports and system updates, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Experience

Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of complex electrical systems.
Commercial electrician experience preferred, with familiarity in renovation projects and construction environments.
Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring and high voltage systems is essential.
Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and using test equipment such as ohmmeters.
Knowledge of NEC standards for electrical safety and installation practices.
Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects is highly desirable.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, power drills, and frame carpentry tools efficiently.
Prior handyman experience or general construction background is a plus for versatile troubleshooting skills.
