Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled CERTIFIED Crane Operator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty cranes equipped with pile driving attachments to install deep foundation supports essential for large-scale construction projects and Bridges. We are looking for a Certified Crane Operator to operate various types of cranes specifically Lattice Boom Cranes and heavy machinery on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in crane operations, pile driving, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team on all Construction Projects.

Duties
- Operate pile driving cranes and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites.
- Conduct pile driving operations, including the installation of foundation piles, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Interpret and understand blueprints, site plans, and lift plans to execute operations accurately and safely.
- Conduct thorough pre-operational checks on cranes and other heavy equipment to ensure safe and proper functioning.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant standards, and promoting a culture of safety on the job site.
- Communicate effectively with ground personnel and team members to coordinate lifting, rigging, and pile driving operations.
- Assist in rigging loads, ensuring proper balance and securing of materials before lifting.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including daily logs and maintenance reports.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cranes, particularly pile driving equipment, and report any mechanical issues to supervisors.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes, emphasizing the importance of safety in all operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in crane operation or related field preferred.
- Valid crane operator certification (e.g., NCCCO, CIC, or equivalent) is required.
