Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician/Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort and efficiency in their properties. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute installations and repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and property systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical issues and perform mechanical repairs.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites, providing exceptional service technician support for system diagnostics and repairs.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems, including boiler operation and mechanical system upkeep.
- Operate a driver vehicle safely while transporting tools or equipment to various job sites.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or HVAC installation projects with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Service technician experience working with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing, or appliance repair is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and electrical troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing welding, boiler operation, ammonia refrigeration systems, and general equipment repair.
- Hands-on experience in field service roles involving property maintenance or appliance repair is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to read technical diagrams and perform precise installations or repairs in commercial or residential settings.
- Prior mechanic experience or certifications related to HVAC/R enhances your suitability for this role.
