Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to join Hazen’s HVAC/Plumbing group. The candidate will work with project lead engineers to produce BIM (Revit) models, families, and contract drawings for the HVAC/Plumbing discipline. The ideal candidate is a team player and self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and has the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. The candidate must be detail oriented and have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Preparing plan, section, isometric, and detail drawings for various HVAC/Plumbing systems.

Coordinating with the other disciplines (Structural, Architectural, Process Mechanical, Electrical, I&C, Site Civil) regarding the HVAC/Plumbing design

Performing BIM model clash detection.

Ensuring HVAC/Plumbing models meet Hazen design standards.

Ensuring compliance with the established Hazen and/or client CADBIM standards.

Providing input on CAD/BIM standards and workflows.

Using parametric elements within Revit, and basic parametric Revit family creation and manipulation.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years’ experience using Revit.

Proven proficiency in Revit and knowledge in design drawing production.

Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for small to medium sized projects.
