About the Role
Wrench Guys HVAC/R is a growing company focused on commercial and residential HVAC/R service, repair, and installs across the Greater Boston area.
We’re looking for a licensed Refrigeration Technician (RT) to work directly with our lead tech and help scale service and install operations.
This is a hands-on role with strong growth potential into a lead position.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair:
- Walk-in coolers/freezers
- RTUs and split systems
- Residential HVAC systems
- Ice machines and refrigeration equipment
- Assist and lead installs:
- RTU replacements
- Residential system replacements
- Minisplits (Mitsubishi, Durastar, etc.)
- Perform preventative maintenance (commercial + residential)
- Document work in ServiceTitan (notes, photos, time tracking)
Requirements
Must Have:
- Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician (RT) License
- EPA Universal Certification
- 3+ years HVAC/R experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license
Nice to Have:
- Experience in both commercial + residential
- Install experience (not just service)
- Ability to work independently when needed
Compensation
- $45–$55/hour (based on experience)

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
