CMC of Georgia, an OEM supplier and custom metal fabricator with over a century in business, is seeking Welders to join their team in Toccoa, GA.
If you have at least 1 year of MIG and/or TIG welding experience with aluminum or structural steel, this is an opportunity you need to explore! Veteran welders encouraged to apply as well!

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be able to fully read, interpret, and understand engineered prints.
- Be able to fully read, interpret, and understand welding symbols.
- Be able to build and fabricate within a (1/32'') tolerance to the engineered prints with little to no supervision.
- Be able to accurately read a fractional (1/32'') and metric tape measure(.5mm).
- Be able to convert fractions to decimals & decimals to fractions and convert standard to metric and vice versa.
- Be able to weld to AWS D1.1 and D1.3 quality or better
- Be able to pass a vertical up 1'' thick carbon GMAW solid wire plate guided bend test and 1/4'' thick vertical down metal core plate guided bend test.
- Have experience welding with .035 solid MIG wire, .045 metalcore, .052 metalcore.
- Be able to weld arcs, circles, and pipe socket welds (tank flanges, bosses, etc.)
