Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, finishing, and smoothing concrete surfaces to ensure they meet precise specifications and quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Responsibilities

Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping using hand tools and power tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds
Install rebar and metal mesh reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics for structural integrity
Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately
Set forms for concrete pouring using carpentry skills like framing, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing
Apply finishing techniques including troweling, caulking, plastering, stucco application, and flooring installation
Perform heavy lifting and manual labor necessary for concrete placement, rebar installation, and site preparation
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times while working with power tools, heavy equipment, and on active construction sites
Collaborate with team members on renovation projects involving masonry, roofing, restoration, or other related trades

Experience

Proven experience working as a concrete finisher or in a related construction role with hands-on site experience
Knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to concrete finishing processes and heavy equipment operation
Familiarity with construction estimating practices and reading detailed blueprints or schematics
Skills in rebar installation, form setting, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, or masonry are highly desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision in finishing tasks
Prior experience with renovation projects or commercial construction environments is a plus
Valid driver’s license for commercial driving duties may be preferred depending on project needs
