Job Summary:
As a Lead Installer, you’ll spearhead HVAC installations for both retrofit and new construction projects. You’ll work alongside dedicated Install Helpers, using your expertise to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your skills, lead by example, and grow with a company that invests in its team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HVAC system installations in retrofit and new construction environments with precision and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Install Helpers to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges to deliver flawless results.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience installing HVAC systems in retrofit and new construction settings (mandatory).
- Tools: Must own personal hand tools; larger equipment and tools provided by Platinum Air Heating & Cooling.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Background: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
- Preferred: EPA certification and/or relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., NATE) are a plus.
