We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead HVAC Installer to join our growing team. Must have at least 3 years experience installing HVAC in retrofit and new construction. Install Helpers Provided. The ideal candidate is a skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, leads by example, and can manage residential HVAC installations from start to finish. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee residential HVAC installation projects.
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and indoor air quality equipment.
- Supervise and train installation apprentices and junior technicians.
- Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer questions throughout the installation process.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Coordinate with the office, sales team, and service department to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- Previous experience leading an installation crew preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, airflow, and refrigerant practices.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while leading a team.
